BIOMAT is a disruptive and innovative project. And that’s just what was showcased at Nanotexnology 2022, where the Project had a stand at the EXPO. BIOMAT was also exposed in a presentation at the parallel International Conference on Nanosciences & Nanotechnologies (NN22).
The largest technology, networking and matchmaking annual event in Europe on Nanotechnologies, Organic & Printed Electronics and Nanomedicine was held in Thessaloniki, Greece, from July 2th to 9th. It explored the opportunities in these emerging fields, bringing together over 2,000 professionals.
As a highly innovative Project, it aims to establish an Open Innovation Test Bed (BIOMAT-TB) for providing services to a wide range of European industries and SMEs to accelerate and facilitate the uptake of innovation in nano-enabled bio-based cellular materials.
The 2022 Nanotexnology edition resulted in one week of several high-profile initiatives, such as conferences, workshops, a summer school and an exhibition space. It was an excellent opportunity to reveal more about the BIOMAT Project, which aims to accelerate a sustainable European Bioeconomy.
