BIOMAT highlighted at Workshop on Sustainability in Tunisia!

BIOMAT's partner, the National Research Council of Italy (CNR), recently featured BIOMAT project at the workshop "Innovative Approaches to Circular Economy: Valorization of Food Waste and Nanotechnology", held at the French National Institute for Preventive Archaeological (INRAP), in Tunis, Tunisia.

During the event, CNR delivered two key oral presentations. The first, "Towards a Sustainable Circular Bio-Economy: Development of Bio-Based Polymers from Renewable Resources", outlined BIOMAT's progress in developing biopolymers from renewable materials. The second, "Strategic Guidance for the Scalability of Sustainable Biobased Polymers: A Technology Transfer Case Study from an EU H2020 Research and Innovation Project", explored the practical challenges of scaling these innovations for industrial application, showcasing the project's achievements in transferring research into real-world solutions.

This workshop was a crucial opportunity to promote BIOMAT's progress and engage with a global network of researchers and stakeholders dedicated to advancing sustainability through circular economy principles.
