European SMEs and industries can apply for BIOMAT’s services free of charge

BIOMAT has launched the 1st Call for its Open Tender, allowing European SMEs and industries to apply for highly innovative technologies transfer and associated services free of charge. Through this online application process, companies operating in the Construction, Automotive, Furniture and Bedding sectors will be able to receive technologies transfer and associated additives, thus innovating in producing nano-enabled bio-based polyurethane (PUR) foams and composites.

The selected customers will have access to a wide range of cutting-edge research centres and companies that will provide technology transfer and business support services, such as Life Cycle Assessment (LCA) and Life Cycle Costing (LCC), processes inline monitoring, safety evaluation, and fundraising training, among others. You can discover all the available technologies, cost-free during the Project’s implementation phase, on the online Catalogue HERE

BIOMAT’s main goal is to accelerate the European Bioeconomy, by producing sustainable solutions, with added value, from materials with a low carbon footprint and making processes more efficient at an economic level, taking into account the Circular Economy guidelines.

The established Open Innovation Test Bed (BIOMAT-TB), an innovation ecosystem, is operated via a Single-Entry Point (SEP), which acts as the legal profit entity and centralises the different services, covering the entire value chain. At the end of the Project, BIOMAT-TB will provide the services at fair and competitive prices.

The Open Tender Call is available until March 31st. Don’t miss the opportunity to boost your company’s growth and innovation and apply HERE.
