BIOMAT’s partner AEP Polymers Srl attended the 2nd Salzburg Conference for Smart Materials, where they made a presentation emphasising the importance of the newly developed bio-based PUR foams and their advanced characterisation. Furthermore, the services provided by the Project related to green-PUR were emphasized. The event took place from September 12th to 15th at the University of Salzburg.

The conference brought together an international and diverse research community to share their latest findings on Smart Materials. It emphasised the material science and engineering, tangible user interfaces, and smart manufacturing.

The attendees, including SMEs, got to know more about BIOMAT, the highly innovative European Project that aims to accelerate and facilitate the uptake of innovation in nano-enabled bio-based cellular materials.
