BIOMAT’s Digital Twin Pilots, the Open Innovation Test Bed and the Single-Entry Point were some of the Project’s highlights at the leading European event for Construction Materials, Techniques and Systems for the Building Industry. Our partners Galicia Institute of Technology (ITG), CeNTI, CTV, Plasfi, Ritols and University of Castilla la Mancha (UCLM) atended Construtec, which took place from November 15th to 18th in Madrid, Spain.
Several scientific presentations were presented addressing BIOMAT: the Project’s Digital Twin Pilots, Open Innovation Test Bed and Single-Entry Point. The possibilities to apply for technology transfer for new bio-based foams by specialized labs, their advantages and how they can improve the products were presented. The future of bio-based aerogels was also in focus, from research to application in the construction and the building sectors.
Construtec 2022 promoted Sustainability, Innovation and Technology, raising awareness among all professionals of the need to achieve a more ecological, intelligent and green sustainable industry. The fair highlighted new areas in digital transformation like IT, Automation and Control, IoT, Services, 3D and Virtual Reality.
